Sharing a very simple and easy to make prawn curry recipe, taught to me by Meera. This is closest to what Goan Prawn Curry tastes like but not exactly. Neverthless, it’s a tasty recipe and easy to try out.

Ingredients:

Tomatoes, Garlic, Red Chillies, Curry Leaves, Coconut Milk, Chilli Powder, Haldi/Turmeric powder), Coriander powder, Prawns

Procedure

  • Heat oil, add the red chillies and curry leaves.
  • Then add the finely chopped tomatoes and garlic.
  • Sauté.
  • Then add haldi, chilli powder and coriander powder and fry well till it all forms a nice masala.
  • Then slowly add prawns and fry gently.
  • Add water, according to the requirement to thin the curry.
  • After the prawns are cooked, you can addd the coconut milk and bring it to boil well.
